March for Babies 5 Mile Walk
Dear Family,
On April 20, 2013, I am participating in the March for Babies 5 Mile Walk. I'm doing the walk with members my Sorority, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. March of Dimes and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc are in a partnership via Stork's Nest, a National initiative to prevent premature babies through education and support of young mothers. This is an initiative that is dear to my heart.
That being said, I am asking for your support in my March for Babies walk. Please sponsor me in this worthy cause. Your donations are tax deductible. It's a win-win for everyone.

Reunion Update
Hey Family!!!
I hope this email reaches you all well. This email will give all current information in regards to the 2013 McMearn family reunion, Here we go:
Dues: Final date to pay your dues will be Wednesday May 1, 2013! All dues should be sent to Aaron McMearn, 10923 Monte Verde, Houston Texas 77099. The dues will be $70 per family member 5 years of age and up.
The dues will be $20 for children under 5.
Hotel: We will be staying at The Embassy Suites located 2911 Sage Road Houston Tx. Rooms are $119 per night for King bed and $139 per night for double beds. Rates are good through May 31st.
Please make your reservations under "The McMearn Reunion" and give them room code MMR.
Shirts: After extending the deadline nearly 6 weeks, February 23rd will be the last date to submit shirt sizes.
Itinerary: Thursday night : We will be meeting out for dinner, location-TBD.
Friday morning : Field trip to Blue Bell Ice Cream Factory in Brenham Texas! It's about an hour drive from the hotel. Depart time is 10am. Cost is $6 per person, $4 for seniors 55+ and children 14 and under. The tour will last about 45 mins.
Friday afternoon : Free time!!! Take advantage of this time to go out and enjoy Houston or stay in, relax, and get acclimated to your hotel.
Friday Night : Welcome dinner! Jean's House at 6pm. 6319 Heatherbrook Dr Houston Tx. 77085
Saturday Morning : Back where it all began bus trip to Crockett Tx, Depart time is 6:45am from The Embassy Suite hotel. Return time is 2pm
Saturday Afternoon : Free time!! Wanna hang out with your fam, meet us at the hotel bar.
Saturday Night : McMearn Family Reunion Banquet in the Hotel Main Ballroom Lobby level. The Banquet will begin at 7pm.
Sunday Morning :Church at Riceville Baptist Church, 11539 S. Gessner Rd. Houston, Tx. 77071. Doors open 10:45am

Family Reunion T Shirts
Hello McMearn family, this email is being sent to inform you that I should have your Reunion shirt size by now. However, there are several members of this family who have failed to respond to my request. In my efforts to keep some of you from looking like a human boudain, I would seriously advise you to respond with those sizes immediately. I have been forced to delay the order date to February 1st since I am missing sizes for half of the family. So, it is very important that you take the time now, and I mean "RIGHT NOW", to send me those sizes. Real talk, we need them asap! Orders going in next Friday. Don't forget kids sizes and sizes for our seniors too. At this point you can even call or text me with your sizes. 281-772-3926 Thanks fam!

Family Scrapbook
Happy New Year McMearn Family! As we start to prepare for the reunion you will see various emails in regards to dues, arrival and departures dates, and other request for information. It is important that you reply to these emails in a timely manner so that the reunion committee can best prepare for all that plan to attend. This particular email is for EVERYONE in the family whether you plan to attend the reunion or not. We are asking that you submit recent individual and/or family pictures. We would also like you to include any news that you want to share with the family, like weddings, births, graduations, sporting events, minor and major accomplishments, etc... Please send all information by March 1 to ttpettaway81@gmail.com so that we can start our scrapbooking. We are eagerly preparing for the reunion and can't wait to see you all here in Houston!
